Andrey’s yoga journey began in 2010 after discovering the Dharma Mittra Yoga Center, where he was drawn to yoga’s philosophical depth and its ability to integrate mind and body. What began as curiosity evolved into a long-term exploration of movement as meditation, inquiry, and transformation.
With over 800 hours of Yoga Teacher Training, including advanced 300-hour and continuing education studies with Jason Crandall, Andrey’s teaching is grounded in functional anatomy, intelligent sequencing, and a practice that is both sustainable and challenging.
A competitive long-distance runner, martial artist, and teacher of conscious breathing, Andrey approaches yoga as a practical system for building resilience, clarity, and self-awareness—one that supports strength, mobility, and presence in everyday life.
His teaching blends technical vinyasa with thoughtful repetition and muscle-memory development, empowering students to use their own bodies to access, breakdown and refine challenging asanas. Classes emphasize the distinction between alignment (where the body is) and action (how the body works within the shape), balancing active and passive engagement to build not only flexibility, but strength, stability, and joint resilience—an essential counterbalance to today’s largely sedentary lifestyle.
Andrey creates a calm, supportive environment where students build confidence, clarity, and longevity in their practice—on and off the mat.
