Ayurveda is the art of daily living in harmony with the laws of nature. Body, mind and consciousness are in constant interaction and relationship with other people and the environment. In working to create health, Ayurveda takes into consideration these different levels of life and their interconnectedness. Dr Marda will tell us the basics of Ayurvedic medicine, how it relates to yoga and yoga practice and how we can integrate this art into our daily lives (for instance, how/when to eat for our body/mind type). He is also specialized in Long Covid, Cardiac disease, diabetes and pain management, so bring your questions!
Dr. Ghanashyam Marda
Dr. Ghanashyam Marda is a well-known Ayurveda Practitioner, Teacher and researcher for the last 30 years, in India and worldwide. He works across the globe, mainly in Europe, USA and China. He has participated in 5 international research projects and delivered guest speech / Key note address in more than 80 international conferences outside India. He is working / worked with more than 5 international medical universities and 15 different countries association of Ayurveda and Yoga. His post graduate research in Ischemic heart disease and ayurvedic management was recognized with Gold medal. He has also done research in Diabetes (as co morbidity to heart disease), Pain management internationally. He wrote Art of Healthy Aging, a book with Dr Pierre Drweski. His next book to be published soon will be on diet. He has translated few ancient treaties and is the recipient of many national and international awards.
