Food insecurity affects so many in our community. Let’s come together to make a difference! Join Shantideva Center and Yogis & Yoginis in supporting the neighborhood food pantry. Every contribution counts.
There will be a designated container in the lobby.
Drop-Off Hours: Sat-Sun, 9am-4pm and when attending a class/event.
Most Needed Pantry Items
We accept donations of unexpired and unopened non-perishable goods. Canned goods are welcome however the food pantry would appreciate the following to offer to the community:
- Canned fish: Tuna or other types of canned fish.
- Canned or dried soups: These hearty and filling options make great meal.
- Canned or dried beans: All types are welcome.
- Cooking oil: All types are welcome. No glass containers.
- Juice: Boxed non-refrigerated juice. No glass containers.
- Dried fruits and nuts: All types are welcome.
Best Practices When Choosing Donations
- Check expiration dates: Please make sure all items are within their sell-by or best-by dates.
- Check for damage: Only factory-sealed, undamaged cans.
- No glass containers: To prevent breakage during transport or in the donation container.
Offering Donations Online
