“gathering towards” is a yoga nidra or *mind food* practice used to traverse the state of consciousness between waking and sleeping. in this offering we will meditate on the body as its own universe, by using the Katonah Yoga magic square and other frames of reference that continually direct our attention to the fifth limb of Yoga, Pratyahara, or “withdrawal of the senses”. Expect guided writing prompts, movement, intentional breathwork as a bridge towards spatial awareness, and an extended relaxation meditation designed to draw us back to center. in winter, creating a deeply palpable inner sense of eternity is not the exception! It’s the rule.

About the Teacher(s):

Chelsey was introduced to yoga in childhood during a time of immense grief and chronic pain. Her classes are always different and run the gamut in terms of physical exploration, breath and philosophy.
Chelsey is committed to sharing the body’s natural intelligence and ability to heal itself through curiosity and autonomy.
She has studied with Nevine Michaan & Abbie Galvin and continues to draw inspiration from many other spiritual teachers she has met along the way.
