Honoring Grief Workshop

Event

Saturday, December 6 - 3:00 to 5:30 PM

Cost: IN-STUDIO $55 – ONLINE $40

Welcome to ‘Honoring Grief,’ a monthly container for processing, honoring and holding space for the myriad ways we are all grieving right now.

This month we’ll be honoring our grief by creating an altar.  Please bring something that represents your loss in any way that is personal to you.  You’ll add it to the altar and decide whether or not to take it back with you.

A mix of restorative/yin movement for our bodies, journaling for our minds and creative expression for our hearts, these monthly workshops provide a deeply supportive and intimate environment for grief to find an outlet and witness. Limited to a small group, open to all those grieving- personal loss, change, heartbreak, world instability, whatever it may be. Come once, come monthly.

Bring something to write in and with if you’d like.  Supplies will also be provided.

About the Teacher(s):

Shenaaz Jetha

For Shenaaz, what began as an elective at UCLA in 1997, morphed into a career path. She never imagined that she would teach yoga, but as her practice has evolved, so too has she, to find her voice, her path and a practice that means so much to her. Through her various trainings, Shenaaz has found a way to help others connect to their bodies, finding grounding in the chaos of life and healing, through deep stretch and release. She’s grateful to all the teachers who have shaped her path, and the students who share it.
