New Year Aligned Intentions

Event

Saturday, January 10 - 4:00 to 7:00 PM

Learning to Listen

Cost: IN-STUDIO $60 – ONLINE $45

Each year the clock strikes twelve on January 1st and we’re immediately blasted, blitzed, barraged and highly encouraged, to start anew: our health, our bodies, our lives, our careers, our relationships, and of course, our love lives.  The onslaught is endless.

Yet, in all that noise, we lose our voice, our inner wisdom, our connection to ourselves… our own true north. What if, instead of being admonished into taking action that isn’t aligned or intuitive… we did nothing? What if we sat in stillness, took time for contemplation, listened to our bodies, and the deeper call of what we truly want our lives to look like?

Welcome to Aligned Intentions.

This year, we’ll start from a place of grounding, listening, and let our insight guide our map for 2026.  The new year continues the great wave of change we’ve been experiencing, and for many of us, it’ll bring the unexpected, new shifts, stronger voices, endings and beginnings.  True alignment begins with thoughtfulness, allowing what truly matters, to rise to the surface.  With clarity and truth, we move forward in authenticity.

Class will consist of:

  • Breathwork & Grounding
  • Journaling
  • Creative practices
  • Clarity on Winter’s practices & gifts
  • Gentle movement & restorative rest
  • Reflection on the insight of 2025

We’ll once again, reconvene, every change of the seasons, marking our growth and progress, while aligning with nature. Each turning point, we’ll reassess our direction, confirming our truest intentions, and letting our intuition guides us in another year around the sun.

Please bring a journal and something to write with.

About the Teacher(s):

Shenaaz Jetha

For Shenaaz, what began as an elective at UCLA in 1997, morphed into a career path. She never imagined that she would teach yoga, but as her practice has evolved, so too has she, to find her voice, her path and a practice that means so much to her. Through her various trainings, Shenaaz has found a way to help others connect to their bodies, finding grounding in the chaos of life and healing, through deep stretch and release. She’s grateful to all the teachers who have shaped her path, and the students who share it.
