Winter Intentions: Clarity in Stillness

Event

Saturday, December 13 - 3:00 to 5:30 PM

Cost: IN-STUDIO $50 – ONLINE $35

As we near the Winter Solstice, we prepare for the long night of darkness by turning inward towards rest, quiet, and stillness- the season of yin.  There is a depth to this long night that invites us to connect with the core of our being, untouched emotions and dreams.  Where we witness what arises, what needs clarity and focus, whether we need courage to continue, or to let go.  On the eve of this Winter, we’ll come together to meet our final Intentions of 2025, finding introspection on what we’d like to invite into this meditative season, and nurturing seeds for the year to come.

The second half of our workshop will offer us time to reflect on what 2025 brought us- its gifts, its lessons, its sweetness and its hard truths.  Using this unique time for insight, contemplation and conservation.

All are welcome for this seasonal workshop.

Class will consist of:

  • Breathwork & Grounding
  • Understanding Winter’s gifts & limitations
  • Contemplation of the season’s intentions
  • Movement to embody those intentions
  • Reflection on the insight of 2025

Please bring something to write on and a writing instrument.riting instrument.

About the Teacher(s):

Shenaaz Jetha

For Shenaaz, what began as an elective at UCLA in 1997, morphed into a career path. She never imagined that she would teach yoga, but as her practice has evolved, so too has she, to find her voice, her path and a practice that means so much to her. Through her various trainings, Shenaaz has found a way to help others connect to their bodies, finding grounding in the chaos of life and healing, through deep stretch and release. She’s grateful to all the teachers who have shaped her path, and the students who share it.
